A classic sling on a classic Winchester Model 70. Will definitely fit future rifles with these slings. Well made with even better value.
The Buffalo hide sling gives my 1885 rifle an old western nostalgic look. The sling carries the rifle well and has ample adjustments for different lengths.
The gun sling has the feel of leather that has been there for years. This goes especially well with and rifle with a wooden stock. Great product.
This sling has great value for the price. If the price increased $50, I would still believe that it has great value for the price.
This is the first sling I have ever purchased so I wanted it to be right. I like it because it isn't one of those synthetic ones that look just too Rambo for me. This is well built and I'm sure will last two or three lifetimes. It belongs on a hunting rifle as it just looks so natural. I hiked many miles up and down some steep hills my first time with this sling and never even noticed it was there. If I get another rifle it will get this sling too!
Well made leather sling
Good value
Well made by Amish craftsman. Good to buy American
This is an extremely attractive and durable sling. I mounted it on my Ruger M77 International and it complements the beauty of that rifle perfectly. It is also very strong, yet amazingly pliable. I would recommend this sling to anyone!
I bought this for my dad to go with his pre-64 Winchester lever action rifle. Even though this sling is is brand new, it goes perfectly with classic firearms. It really looks like it’s from an earlier era of the American West; it’s design is simple, the leather is beautiful, and it’s easy to adjust. There is nothing not to like about it and it’s worth twice what it costs.
Seems like good quality leather. Color is perfect and matches my rifle well. I'm sure this will be passed down to my kids someday. Completely recommend.
I like lever action rifles enough that I bought a couple Henry “Long Ranger” rifles in the past couple years (.223 &.308). Needed a sling for most recent purchase, found this one, read the reviews and decided to take a chance and order one. Great sling, nothing fancy but very nice looking. Attached it to the .223 and came to the conclusion that it was perfect for this gun. It almost seemed that it was made for the gun, as it compliments the looks of the whole setup very nice. Nice enough that I ordered a second one to replace the more expensive sling on the .308. Needs a rubdown with neatsfoot oil or any leather oil. Bought mossy oak swivel set for it and I’m ready to go. If you are worried about the sling screws working loose a drop of thread lock won’t hurt anything.
I can't believe this sling is only about $25. Came fast and hassle free. As soon as I felt it, I knew that it was quality. There is a beautiful weathered look to the leather and I love the stitching. I have read a couple people complain about the screw on fasteners, but personally, I love the security that offers. Besides, you shouldn't be micro-adjusting your sling anyway. I love how far it adjusts...it should be the right size for almost any application. I preferred it exactly how it came shipped to me. I prefer a one shoulder carry for my little .22 that I put it on, and it was perfect.I can't get over how pretty this look is. I mounted it on my late grandfather's 1987 Marlin model 60 .22lr and it increased the looks of the gun 100x. Would highly recommend.
The leather is of good quality. The stitching and overall fit and finish are good. It's a good basic leather sling.
Bought this for my Ruger Mini-14. Looks great with the wood stock and works just fine. For other Mini-14/30 owners who are wondering; 20/30 round magazines will ride along your side when you have the rifle slung over your shoulder. The mag does not poke you in the back unless you are trying to sling the rifle cross-chest carry. I've seen this question / comment on other forums.
Very nicely made all leather sling , only negative side is the leather is so stiff
This is a great, top quality leather sling that is no frills and will never fail. I loved it so much I got 3 more because the price is too low for the quality of material.Remember to lock-tite the Chicago screws and you're golden.
Excellent piece of work. Attaches to rifle buckles as expected . Easy to adjust and appears to be of quality workmanship.
Look great and just what I wanted. Well made!
I rarely write reviews. But this sling is nice! Put mine on a new Henery I picked up. Instantly went back and bought (4) more in case this was a one time diamond in the ruff thing. If your looking for simple, quality, and practical. Pull the trigger!
Nice thick leather. Feels and looks heavy duty.I rubbed in some mink oil. The leather got much darker because it sucked up the mink oil.
Rugged and luxurious at the same time, I bought two, want two more
Works fine on my Ruger mini 30 or Marlin 30/30, nice softer leather
Very comfortable, great adjustability.
Excellent all around, fits my light varmint and target 10 22 very well. Looks very nice with its hardwood stock. Plenty long enough (I have it set up with 2 adjustment holes to spare). Not to heavy just perfect. Highly recommend. Amish made.
This is a fantastic sling in my opinion. Strong leather but still very flexible. Not too thick and certainly not too thin like those Chinese ones sold at a lesser price. Just right and should last a lifetime. Plus, it adjusts all the way out o 42 inches if needed to sling your rifle over your back while hiking to keep your hands free at times. I like mine 38 to 40". Great value and great quality. Well made for sure.
Great quality and is my fifth one!
Love it for older guns looks old love it.
I looked for a ton of different slings for my Yugoslavian 8mm Mauser before I found this one and let me tell you for the price you cannot beat this swing. The hardware is great quality, as well as the leather and stitching throughout the sling. Definitely recommend this brand.
This strap looks and fits great on my recently purchased Yugo M24/47
