Good authentic thick quality leather, unlike all the other cheap and likely fake leathers available within stores.Made in Wooster, Ohio USA.PROS1) Good thick quality leather2) Cushion pad for lengthy time carrying.3) Good quality metal fasteners.CONS1) The cushion or two piece leather/suede shoulder might be difficult to condition with oil, due to no accessible leather backing. Also, cushion cannot be readily replaced without sewing.2) Upon arrival, the leather looked somewhat dry, regardless, I readily oil all new leather products; then regularly subsequently clean and oil when needed.3) Would have been nice to have one more extra metal fastener in the event one is lost, with the extra fastener being needlessly fastened at some other point along the strap.TIPUse neatsfoot oil on the suede shoulder cushion. Also use neatsfoot oil on the rest of the leather if not wanting the leather color to darken, otherwise, use mink oil or lexol on the strap.

Awesome Sling setup, 2 rifles so far, and just ordered for my shotgun. Rugged slings, Comfy all-day wear. I personally wanted extra security for straps, easily found at hardware store. I doubled up on the strap screws, using Nylok nuts ( never back out) for security. My 7lb shotgun feels super secure, and I always get comments on these slings. The buffalo leather is tough, wet/dry/wet/dry no issues. Looks amazing. Everybody asks where I got it. Right here!!!... may even dress up the 10/22 with some leather bits...Grab this while you can!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Like others have repeated before me this is a great sling. Leather, stitching, thickness, color and adjustability are all you want in a sling. This one exceeded my expectations. Using it on a Winchester Model 70 SuperGrade. Make sure you're using 1" swivels when using this sling. You won't be disappointed.

This sling is more of an old school sling, well made, traditional look and feel. My father was an avid hunter and he would have loved this sling. This sling could help you out with many purposes and uses if you ever got in a jamb out in the backcountry. I like the look and feel of this sling and am looking forward to setting up one of my long guns with this sling. Excellent quality from what I can see so far.
